  • 简介: 生于1952年,南京人,中国工程院院士,教授。1981年在西安交通大学信控系获硕士学位,1985年在日本庆应大学获博士学位,并留日作博士后研究。曾任西安交通大学人工智能研究所所长,西安交通大学校长。长期从事模式识别、机器视觉与图像处理等领域的应用基础理论和工程技术的研究。主持和完成多项国家科技攻关、国家自然科学基金等重要科研项目。曾获国家科技进步奖二等奖两项(1991、1996)、国家技术发明二等奖一项(2007)、国家自然科学二等奖一项(2016),香港何梁何利科学与技术进步奖等多项奖励。2005年11月当选美国国际电子与电气工程师协会会士(IEEE Fellow)。

  • 简介: Jean Ponce received the Doctorat de Troisieme Cycle and Doctorat d’Etat degrees in computer science from the University of Paris, Orsay, in 1983 and 1988, respectively. He has held research scientist positions at the Institute National de la Recherche en Informatique et Automatique from 1981 to1984, the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory from 1984 to 1985, and the Stanford University Robotics Laboratory from 1985 to 1989, and served on the faculty of the Department of Computer Science, University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, from 1990 to 2005. Since 2005, he has been a Professor with Ecole Normale Superieure, Paris, France. He is an author of over 190 publications, including the textbook Computer Vision: A Modern Approach, in collaboration with David Forsyth. In 2003, he was named an IEEE Fellow for his contributions to computer vision. He is a member of the Editorial Boards of the International Journal of Computer Vision (for which he served as an Editor-in-Chief from 2003 to 2008), the SIAM Journal on Imaging Sciences, and the Foundations and Trends in Computer Graphics and Vision. He was the Program Chair of the 1997 CVPR and served as the General Chair of the year 2000 edition of this conference. He also served as the General Chair of the 2008 ECCV. He was also an Area Editor of the Computer Vision and Image Understanding from 1994 to 2000 and an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Robotics and Automation from 1996 to 2001.

  • 简介: Mubarak Shah is the Trustee Chair Professor of computer science and the Founding Director of the Center for Research in Computer Vision, University of Central Florida (UCF). His research interests include video surveillance, visual tracking, human activity recognition, the visual analysis of crowded scenes, video registration, and UAV video analysis. He is a Fellow of the AAAS, IAPR, and SPIE. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Machine Vision and Applications and an Associate Editor of the ACM Computing Surveys journal. He is an Editor of the international book series on video computing.

  • 简介: Dacheng Tao is Professor of Computer Science and ARC Laureate Fellow in the School of Computer Science and the Faculty of Engineering, and the Inaugural Director of the UBTECH Sydney Artificial Intelligence Centre, at The University of Sydney. His research results in artificial intelligence have expounded in one monograph and 200+ publications at prestigious journals and prominent conferences, such as IEEE TPAMI, IJCV, AIJ, AAAI, IJCAI, NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICDM, and KDD, with several best paper awards. He received the 2018 IEEE ICDM Research Contributions Award and the 2015 Australian Museum Scopus-Eureka prize. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, ACM, AAAS and the Australian Academy of Science.
